    Greeting's my beautiful divine beings, Nicole from Sankofas Naturals here I thought it would be soo fun to gift our readers, with a blog on chakra healing through our diet's. It's soo important to eat well balanced meals, snacks to keep us grounded and aware of ourselves, yoga, meditation, root work is beautiful.

     Yet we can't do any of those things to the highest potential eating foods that don't provide services to our physical realm form ( body) . soi we're going to dive into the chakras and some amazing foods to activate your divine healing.

Root is located in the genital area, women hold emotions here, why womb health is soo important.

Muladhara (Root chakra)

The first 
chakra
 also called the root chakra is located at the base of the spine. Usually represented in colour red, it helps to keep the energy of the body connected with earthly energies. It aids movement, survival and self-esteem.

Lentils, black beans, quinoa, amaranth, green peas, hemp seeds, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, tempeh, hemp milk, edamame, spinach, black-eyed peas, tahini, chickpeas, 
The root chakra’s element is Earth, so therefore a mineral-rich diet creates stability — hence a plant based diet is recommended.
Red Colored Fruits and Vegetables help the root chakra in many wonderful ways. The root chakra is red, and interestingly, eating red can help regulate the root chakra. Most red fruits and vegetables are a good source of Vitamin C.The root chakra is connected to bone, skin, and the adrenals which all need Vitamin C to thrive. Red apples, strawberries, pomegranates, cherries, tomatoes, red cabbage, beets, and many more are beneficial.
Root Vegetables are a vital resource because they are grown in Earth’s soil and contain the grounding and stabilizing energy of Earth. Potatoes, beets, carrots, onion, garlic, and parsnips can have a positive effect on the root chakra.
The navel is your genetic lineage to your ancestral line, your emotions, creativity Sacral Chakra .

Swadhistana (Sacral Chakra)
    Sacral chakra located at the navel, it is always represented in hues of orange. Being associated with all things emotional and creativity. A healthy sacral chakra always aids control and balance in one’s life


Fruits for Sacral Chakra:

 This fiery chakra needs to be indulged  with sweet fruits like melons, mangos, strawberries, passion fruit, oranges, coconut. Even honey and nuts are recommended for it. 
Do you trust your intuition? This is where this sacral  chakra point resides your gut, soo imperative that we take care of gut health

Manipura (Solar Plexus Chakra)

Third Chakra, which is directly connected to our instincts “gut feelings”. When our Solar Plexus  is balanced many things increase in healing pitential inside of our spirits like : self-love, intuitive powers, self worth, will power  and courage. Solar plexus is said to govern the ego.

  • The solar plexus and navel area
  • The stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, small intestine, and muscles

Feed the Solar plexus with
Whole grains: oats, spelt, cereal,
rice, rye, farro and teff are great for fire energy but make sure you soak them first for easy digestion.
Legumes: lentils, chickpeas and beans are a great addition to curriesdhals
and soups.

The heart chakra our Center's, keep this chakra point open, nourished with love and light, direct link to our emotions.
Anahata
"The heart chakra, it’s represented in the color pink and green. Emotional abuse and heartbreak can be wounding to the seat of love. Ensure that this chakra is always in the right emotional frame.

Aid the healing process by feeding the chakra leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, dandelion greens, arugula, green peppers, cabbage, celery. Green teas also keep the heart chakra in healthy condition, and spice it up with basil, thyme, cilantro."

Throat Chakra asks us to be mindful, speak the truth, self expression and control.
Vishuddha

"The chakra is located at the throat, and is symbolized in color sky blue. It represents our will power and responsibility. Not being able to express oneself can manifest into cold and sore throat. Learn to always speak the truth.
To keep the throat in mint condition, quench it with liquids like water, fruit juices, and herbal teas."

The third eye chakra aides in your effectiveness to survive and see the realms without rose tents.

Ajna


The third eye, Ajna is located in the center of the head or brow, and is usually represented in colour indigo. It’s the seat of wisdom and insight. It helps to keep things in perspective.



 Dark bluish fruits like blue berries, black berries, raspberries help to keep the chakra centred. Wine and grape juice, along with spices like poppy seeds are considered perfect for the chakra.

How's your spiritual communication and effectiveness? This Chakra controls that aspect , soo eat your brain foods, take those herbs .Stay hydrated.
Sahasrara


'The crown chakra, it is located on the topmost portion of the head. The color used to identify it is either white or purple. It is the highest form of chakra, which opens up the spiritual communication completely with the universe.It’s often drawn a lotus blooming open.

 Incense and smudging herbs like sage, copal, myrrh, frankincense, and juniper. Fasting and detoxifying are said to be beneficial for the development of the chakra as it awakens to the highest form spiritual communication."
